Disney is always experimenting with new systems and ideas. Recently, one of the ideas implemented for COVID-19 safety was a reservation system. This system requires guests to book reservations for the park that they want to go to. Something interesting happened with it this week, so let’s check it out.
Originally, this system was only extended to January 2022. However, recently it got extended through 2023. When this reservation idea was introduced in July, Chairman of Parks and Experiences said it was the “new normal.” So, it is possible that this could be a permanent change to the parks. Personally, I do not like the reservation system, because it restricts flexibility for your day. However, I see how it can add Covid safety due to helping keep capacities.
I do not like this change very much, but what do you think? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading, and have a magical day.
Thanks for the update! Personally, I don’t really like the idea either.

Thanks for the update Max. This change takes out the mood factor. It is hard to plan all of the fun ahead of time I think. Keep writing !!
