It has been long awaited, but Disney World is finally reopening! It will begin its phased reopening on July 11th, with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Then, on July 15th, Epcot and Hollywood Studios will reopen. There are also many new additions and requirements, so read on!
Requirements to get in
To get into the park, you will have to wear a mask and have your temperature checked. This is the same as how it is in Disney Springs right now. If your temperature is 100.4 or over, you won’t be allowed in the park.
Reservation System
Disney will also have a reservation system to get into the park. You will need to have a reservation for the park and day (Ex. Magic Kingdom, July 21st). This means you won’t be able to Park Hop.
Additional Safety Measures
There will be touch-less hand sanitizing stations and hand washing stations. There won’t be parades, fireworks, or shows that cause large gatherings. There will be no Fastpass. This is because they are using the whole queue to spread people out. There also won’t be Free Dining or Dining Plans. This is all to keep guests safe.
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post! Have a magical day!
Thanks for the valuable information Max. Although conditions do not allow for a complete Disney experience as it has been known in the past, I hope the opening of the park can bring some smiles in this challenging time.
